About the ALDI Graduate Scheme and Application Process
The ALDI graduate scheme has proven to be one of the most challenging and testing schemes within the Times Top 100 graduate employers. ALDI has graduate schemes in management that comprises of a 2 year programme where you will be required to work in and with a number of Aldi stores in a specified region. This experience enables you to apply for an ALDI regional managers job within 2 years.
The application process for the ALDI graduate scheme is as follows:
Stage 1: ALDI Online Application Form and Online Numerical and Verbal Reasoning Tests
You will be required to complete a form without the need to upload a CV. From there you will be asked to complete the numerical reasoning test. Like our numerical reasoning practice tests, they are 20 minutes long. In addition to the maths test you will also be required to take a verbal reasoning test which in general people tend to find less challenging.
Stage 2: Situational Judgement Test
You’ll then be sent a link to complete an online psychometric test. This has been designed to measure your core skills and personal qualities, to see if you are right for ALDI.
Stage 3: Video Submission
This part of the application process requires you to submit a short audio file where you are expected to demonstrate your enthusiasm and ambition for the type of work you will be undertaking at ALDI.
Stage 4: Group Assessment
The group assessment will take place at one of the ALDI assessment centres. You will work in a small team to complete a number of tasks, but at the same time, you must show ALDI that you are a natural leader. You will also be required to complete a numerical reasoning test in person at the assessment centre so it is worth continuing your practice following the online test.
Stage 5: Final interview with your Regional Manager
If your ALDI application is successful you will be invited to what they call a final interview, who will run through your experience and why you believe you are right for ALDI.
