National Tutoring Programme

The Numerical Reasoning Practice Tests is now a part of a National Tutoring Program tuition provider that has been approved by the DfE. Children cannot be enrolled in this by their parents as only schools, through their subject teachers, are permitted to participate. MME provides NTP tutoring in the subject of mathematics, English, and science with a focus on learners preparing for the GCSE. But, in the upcoming weeks, this could be elevated. Given that it is entirely funded by the school, we understand that many parents are interested in this for their kids. Please talk to the school about this and request information about MME for the provider.

The questions that we frequently receive about this are listed below.

The National Tutoring Program: What Is It?

It is a government programme that aims to help schools around the nation pay tuition to support ongoing education. The initial goal of this was to assist kids in getting back on their feet after the pandemic, but it has now been expanded due to indications of how beneficial the tutoring has been.

What is the NTP financing process?

As part of the NTP, each school will get £162 every Pupil Premium-eligible student, which may be used for any learner. Three times a year, in April, September, and December, the funds are made available. Schools are eligible to receive up to £18 per hour per student in reimbursement for 60% of the tuition costs.

Are the NTP courses offered in person or online, and in groups?

This offers the option of 1-on-1 in-person instruction or online group lessons, which is one of its great features. We consider it crucial to have these choices. Please bear in mind, however, that private lessons will cost more than group lessons.

What impact does the nationwide tutoring initiative of the DfE have?

The tutoring offered through this project has had a significant influence on student performance, particularly for the GCSE students that take part in the curriculum.

How do we enrol our school in the NTP?

To continue with this, get in touch with a recognised supplier. We advise MME.
